Firstly I must inform you that there is no on-line shop here, instead I ask for you to contact us via telephone or email to ask any questions, check if we have your required items in stock and to place your order.  Please note that during busy periods there may be a longer lead time in completing orders.

The Warre Beehive…

Built to the original dimensions from the “Beekeeping for All” book.  Our hives arrive to you fully assembled, carefully packed into the box.  The hive is made from 20mm thickness British grown Western Red Cedar, has been highly sanded to make it tactile and to also show of the beauty of the wood, whilst fastened together with stainless steel screws.

Feeding kit – £20.00 + packaging and shipping

Our feeding kit consists of a spacer, rapid feeder and a top bar cloth.  It is a by far the least disturbing tried and tested method of feeding honey bees in a Warre beehive.  It is designed to fit on top of the top box beneath the quilt.


Spacer – £10.00 + packaging and shipping

Our spacer can be used for feeding a Honey bee colony in our Warre beehive.


 

Rapid Feeder – £7.00 + packaging and shipping

The Rapid feeder is by far the best method of feeder honey bees.  With its simple design it allows you to check the amount of feed remaining without disturbing the bees along with the least chance of spilling any.


 

Top Bar cloth – £5.00 + packaging and shipping

The top bar cloth is made from Hessian and is the barrier between the top of the beehive and the quilt.  The Hessian has been stiffened using a Rye flour


 

Castellated Topbar Position Holder – £12.00 (4 pairs) + packaging and shipping

Castellated Spacers2 castellated spacers are required per box.  They provide a easy guide for you to know where to place your top bars inside your Warre Beehive.  When purchasing a Warre beehive from us, every box will arrive with these castellated spacers already fitted.


Entrance Reducer – £2.00 + packaging & shipping

Entrance ReducersMade from Western Red Cedar, these reduce the size of entrance which aids the Honey Bee with a battle from thieves, predators and any other unwanted pests.  The new entrance size is approximately:

7mm high x 70mm width
